Adani Defence Systems and Technologies to acquire 50% stake in drone startup General Aeronautics

Adani Defence Systems and Technologies, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, signed a definitive agreement to acquire 50% stake in drone startup General Aeronautics.

Adani Enterprises said in an exchange filing that the transaction is all cash and will be completed by July 31 this year. No financial details were provided. General Aeronautics provides crop protection services, crop health, farming, and yield monitoring services to the agricultural sector. Adani Defence Systems will collaborate with General Aeronautics to provide end-to-end solutions for the domestic agricultural sector, leveraging its military drone, artificial intelligence, and machine learning capabilities. Adani Defence Systems provides drone-based solutions to the defence industry.
