Agritech startup Gramophone raised $10 million led by Z3Partners for expansion


Agritech startup Gramophone raised $10 million in Series B led by Z3 Partners where existing investors Infoedge, Asha Impact and Siana Capital with Other new investors including Amit Sharma of Sunrise Group, Sumeet Kanwar of Verity, and Chona Family Office (Havmor Group) also participated.


Gramophone is a market-leading agri-tech company that offers Agronomy Services, Input and Output products through an eCommerce marketplace in Madhya Pradesh, Chattishgarh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan. Gramophone plans to invest the proceeds in geographic expansion, marketing, technology development, and mergers and acquisitions. Gramophone claims that its products and services benefit 1 million or more farmers, which has resulted in a fourfold increase in revenue over the previous year, and the company expects to grow aggressively in the future.
