Agritech startup Harvesting raised $4 million in funds from Social Capital and others

Agritech startup Harvesting raised $4 million in funds from Silicon Valley-based Social Capital and angels Peggy Dulany Rockefeller and Elliott Donnelly.

Harvesting assists farmers in purchasing agricultural inputs, selling crops in domestic and international markets, and obtaining loans from financial institutions. Garg's seed-to-market startup intends to use the funds to reach 5 million users by FY23. Harvesting also intends to hire for critical roles, bringing its total employee count to 50 by the end of the year, and to expand its offline centres, known as Kisan Centres or Seva Kendras, to every state in India.
