In yet another twist in the ongoing battle between Allen Career Institute and its former faculty members, Allen has filed a petition in Jaipur Commercial Court under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act against its 20 former teachers.
Allen claimed that the teachers violated the service agreement by failing to serve the 4-month notice period following their resignation and failing to complete their service tenure. According to the plea, it also alleged infringement of some confidential material. According to sources, 5 former teachers were able to have the plea dismissed by the court. Kota is at the centre of an ongoing battle between edtech startups and Allen in offline learning centres.
