Amazon is reducing the cost of its Kids+ all-in-one subscription service

Amazon's Kids+ multiplatform package subscribers have been notified of a price change that will take effect on July 14. According to the email, Amazon is simplifying its pricing structure and will convert all Prime members to a $4.99 monthly tier and all non-Prime subscribers to a $7.99 option. Furthermore, all users will have unrestricted access to the service for up to four child profiles.

Amazon has changed its pricing for the first time since the launch of Amazon FreeTime in 2012 (which will be rebranded to Amazon Kids and Kids+ in 2020). Subscription costs will rise for some customers and fall for others as a result of the change. As a result, the news is a bit of a mixed bag depending on how each customer subscribes.
