Amazon has added a new feature to its Amazon Prime Video app that allows Apple iPhone users to select a 30-second segment of an original series and share it with friends, family, and hangers-on.
Currently, the feature is only available on iOS and for users in the United States. Users can only share clips from a limited number of shows during the initial rollout, including season one of "The Boys," "The Wilds," "Invincible," and "Fairfax." When you're watching one of these four titles, you can create a 30-second clip by clicking the new "Share a clip" button. When you click the button, the streaming service will pause the show to allow you to clip and edit the video. The app will then create a clip of what you just watched, which you can then move forward or backward to where you want it and either upload it or share it via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, iMessage, Messenger and WhatsApp.
