About the startup

By the month of June, many of the existing audio pieces on Apple Music will be available as part of the spatial audio with Dolby Atmos experience. Apple stated that it is working with artists to bring more music specifically for the new spatial audio experience.

In addition to spatial audio with Dolby Atmos, Apple Music will also make its catalogue of 75 million-plus songs available in lossless audio. Apple uses ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec) to retain every single bit of the original audio file, capturing every bit of audio created right at the recording studio.

The subscribers using the latest version of Apple Music can turn it on in Settings > Music > Audio Quality. Users can also choose different resolutions as per their connections, such as cellular, Wi-Fi, or for download.
