Apple and its subsidiary asked CCI to provide them with relevant case documents

Apple and its subsidiary Apple Distribution International (ADI) have asked the Competition Commission of India (CCI) to provide them with relevant case documents.

According to an ET report, Apple has requested that the CCI provide the report that a Rajasthan-based informant submitted to the CCI against Apple and ADI, alleging abuse of dominant position. The move comes six months after CCI ordered an investigation into Apple's operations for alleged unfair business practises involving app store policies. The order was issued in response to a petition from the Together We Fight (TWF) Society. TWF Society claimed that Apple engages in a barrage of anti-competitive restraints and market dominance abuse.
