Apple is putting the next generation of its Mac chip in its two most popular laptops, the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, which will be available in stores sometime next month, according to the company.
The two new laptops will be the first to feature the company's next-generation M2 microprocessor. MacBook Air has an all-new, strikingly thin design and even more performance, including a larger 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, a four-speaker sound system, up to 18 hours of battery life1, and MagSafe charging. It now comes in four different colours: silver, space grey, midnight, and starlight. M2 is also available for the 13-inch MacBook Pro, the world's best-selling laptop, delivering incredible performance, up to 24GB of unified memory, ProRes acceleration, and up to 20 hours of battery life2 in a compact design.
