Arkam Ventures closed Rs 325 crore for its fund to invest in early-stage tech-based startups

Arkam Ventures which was started as Unitary Helion in 2017 by Rahul Chandra, a former managing director at Helion Venture Partners, and Bala Srinivasa, a former partner at Kalaari Partners has commitments of Rs 325 cr for its fund of Rs 700 cr to invest in 15 - 18 tech-based startups at an initial investment sizes of Rs 15-30 crore

The new fund’s investors include SIDBI, Capria an American investment firm & entrepreneurs including Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal, Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma.

It has already invested in lending startup Krazybee, B2B grocery platform Jumbotail & in the process of backing 3 more startups in Fintech & Agritech
