B2B ecommece giant Udaan has joined the long list of Indian startups cutting costs due to market conditions. The Bengaluru-based unicorn has laid off approximately 180 employees.
The company stated that it will provide all necessary support to the affected employees. It claimed that the affected employees would be provided with medical insurance for themselves and their families (based on the existing coverage plan), a compensation package in accordance with company policy, and placement assistance.
