Blue and grey-collar job portal WorkIndia raised $12 million in its Pre-Series B from SBI Holdings based in Tokyo, Yamauchi No. 10 Family Office (Nintendo’s founding family), Persol and Insitor.


WorkIndia intends to use the new capital to expand its product and data science skills, as well as to enter the Southeast Asian blue-collar work market. WorkIndia is a job search engine for all blue and grey collar occupations. The startup offers positions in 50 different areas, including telemarketing, field sales executives, and delivery partners. WorkIndia claims to have placed over 29 million Indians. The startup serves 772 cities across 28 states and 8 union territories, empowering 100K Indians each month by assisting them in finding job that matches their skillset. The platform serves the employment needs of over 1.5 million SMBs and numerous large corporations.
