Edtech giant BYJU’S renewed its sponsorship with the BCCI for next 18 months at a cost of approximately $55 million.
According to ANI, BYJU's new term began with India's recently concluded tour of South Africa. BYJU's sponsorship right expired in March of this year, and the university reapplied to the BCCI to extend the term. The edtech behemoth had previously purchased the sponsorship rights from OPPO in 2019, after the smartphone manufacturer ended its sponsorship and sold the remaining term. Its collaboration with the International Cricket Council (ICC) will last until 2023.
