The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) discovered a number of flaws in the video conferencing platform Zoom.

According to the cybersecurity watchdog, one of the flaws could allow an unauthorised remote attacker to join a Zoom meeting without being visible to other video chat participants. “These vulnerabilities exist as a result of ineffective access control implementation.” A remote attacker could use these flaws to join a meeting that they are authorised to attend. To avoid problems, CERT-In recommends that users update to the most recent version of the video conferencing software.
