Cold chain startup Celcius raised $4.5 million in Series A led by Mumbai Angels


Cold chain startup Celcius raised $4.5 million in Series A led by Mumbai Angels where Supply Chain Labs, Endurance Capital, VCats, Keiretsu Forum, Huddle, and EVAN also participated. It intends to close the Series A round at $10 million within the next few months.


Celcius has transported over 2,800 tonnes of perishable cargo across the country, covering more than 85 cities. The new funds will be used to expand the company's footprint to more than 500 cities and to increase the size of its teams in technology, sales, and operations. Celcius currently claims to have 2500 vehicles and 107 cold storage facilities.
