Direct-to-consumer (D2C) personal and home care products startup Clensta raised $2.6 million in Series A from Hem Securities Limited, Venture Catalysts and Inflection Point Ventures where existing investor N+1 Capital also participated.
Clensta began with waterless technology-based products (waterless body bath and shampoo) to enable bathing without the use of water. In five years, the company has grown 20 times. Clensta intends to use the funds to boost sales, increase brand marketing efforts, and expand its online and offline presence throughout India. The brand has grown at a compound annual growth rate of more than 130% and aims to generate ₹1000 crore in revenue over the next five years.
