Deep-tech startup Praan raised an undisclosed sum from global investors Aera VC and others

Deep-tech startup Praan raised an undisclosed sum from global investors Aera VC, angel investment syndication Climate Angels, and Sequoia Scouts where Cool Climate Collective, film director Roshan Abbas, and angel investor Akshat Rajan also participated.

Praan's goal is to reduce urban air pollution by developing low-cost, filter-free, artificial intelligence-powered outdoor air purification systems. The additional funds will be used to grow Praan's India team, accelerate manufacturing, and stabilise the supply chain. The company has started large-scale pilots in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, and Rajasthan. Its product is primarily manufactured in Maharashtra and Gujarat.
