Delhi High Court requested that a lower court rule on Huawei CEO's LOC rejection plea

Delhi High Court directed a lower court to rule quickly on Huawei India CEO Li Xiongwei's (Li Xiongwei's) petition to vacate the I-T department's look-out circular (LOC).

According to the High Court, the trial court will consider Huawei India CEO's petition for cancellation of the LOC and granting him permission to travel abroad in accordance with the law. The High Court also ordered that Huawei India's CEO file an application in the trial court within a week and that the trial court render a decision within four weeks. The I-T department informed the High Court a few days ago that a LOC had been issued against Huawei India's CEO for his misconduct during the investigation, which indicated that he might flee the country.
