The Delhi High Court has requested Google's response to a lawsuit filed by gaming platform WinZO against the US-based tech giant Google.
During the September 22 hearing, the court granted Google four weeks to submit a written response. The next hearing is scheduled for November 2022. WinZO's lawsuit comes after Google announced a Play Store policy requiring fantasy sports and rummy platforms to list their apps for a one-year trial period. Because the policy prohibited real money and skill-based games (such as WinZO), the gaming platform filed a lawsuit, claiming 'discrimination.'
