Dubai revealed the first partners for the upcoming global metaverse event

The Dubai Metaverse Assembly, hosted by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), is said to include the World Economic Forum, Meta, Mastercard, Emirates, and Accenture, among others.

The Dubai Metaverse Assembly will be held on September 28 and 29 at the emirate's iconic landmark, the Museum of the Future and Emirates Towers, AREA 2071. Over 300 global experts and 40 specialised organisations will attend the meeting. The assembly will provide a forum for participants to debate, explore, and shape the metaverse's future. "This global assembly will facilitate synergies among the most pioneering and innovative private and government entities, building exciting use cases in web 3.0 and the metaverse," said Hamad Al Shirawi, director of the Dubai Metaverse Assembly. Al Shirawi went on to say that the conference will "bring together policymakers, academia, startups, and corporations to explore these technologies and their impact" in the metaverse.
