Edtech soonicorn BrightChamps to accept cryptocurrencies as a mode of payment. The startup, which provides essential skill learning courses, will accept Bitcoin, Tether, and Ethereum as payment methods from countries such as the United States, Canada, Nigeria, and Malaysia, among others.
Brightchamps provides courses for children to help them develop their mathematical and coding skills. To enable crypto transactions for its existing and new customers, the startup has partnered with Singapore-based crypto payment gateway TripleA. The TripleA has been approved by Singapore's central bank, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and is a member of the Singapore Fintech Association. The news comes just a few weeks after it acquired fintech startup Education10x.
