Edtech startup Entri.app raised $7 million in Series A led by Omidyar Network India where Innospark Ventures and Integrated Capital, a Hong Kong-based private equity with Notable angel investors Gokul Rajaram, a board member of Pinterest and Coinbase, and Sriram Krishnan, a partner at Andreessen Horowitz (A16Z), a venture capital firm in Silicon Valley also participated.


Entri is an Indian vernacular language learning platform that focuses on assisting people in acquiring relevant job skills. The funds raised in this round will be used for content development in existing and new languages, senior-level hiring, and strategic acquisitions that will help Entri grow faster. With over 8 million users, the startup aims to improve the employability of 40 million people between the ages of 18 and 35 by providing them with learning content in their native language. With the help of the Entri Gold programme, over 25,000 students have passed a government job exam.
