Edtech startup Uolo raised $22.5 million in Series A led by UAE-based VC fund Winter Capital where existing investor Blume Ventures and Dubai-based fund Morphosis Venture Capital also participated.
Uolo provides private schools with affordable parent-teacher communication software as well as an ERP management solution. The company provides coding and English speaking learning programmes that are aligned with the computer science and English curricula at the partner school. Uolo intends to launch more STEAM-related programmes in the coming months. The startup claims to have partnered with over 8500 schools in India and to serve over 3.7 million students.
