Elon Musk's OpenAI chatbot, ChatGPT hit 1 million users


OpenAI, an independent research organisation founded by the world's richest man Elon Musk and Sam Altman, launched a chatbot, ChatGPT, on Wednesday last week, and the service has surpassed 1 million users in just a week.


The chatbot has taken over the internet. This platform has piqued the interest of the internet with its human-like responses and prompt responses. ChatGPT is a chatting robot that has been trained using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. It understands and responds to natural human language, answers questions, and speaks as if to humans. Its name is derived from GPT, which stands for Generative Pre-Trained Transformer. It is a deep-learning language model that specialises in producing written text that is human-like.
