Fitness startup app Fittr raised $2 Mn from Sequoia Capital India’s Surge

Fitness startup Fittr raised $2 million in Pre-Series A from Sequoia Capital India’s Surge, an accelerator programme for early-stage startups in India & Southeast Asia. Fittr launched as a fitness community platform on Facebook, has now grown into one of the largest fitness communities in the world with over 850K members, the startup till date has earned $13 million of revenues. Sharing the future vision for the startup, Chouksey said Fittr is aiming to become the leading global social platform and marketplace for fitness coaching. “The confidence shown by Surge in Fittr will help the startup grow further,” he added.
