Healthtech platform MediBuddy has finally concluded its merger with DocsApp, a doctor consultation platform, nearly two years after announcing a merger.
DocsApp will cease operations as part of the transaction, paving the way for a single entity to provide end-to-end healthcare services. MediBuddy stated in a statement that it hopes to ensure a smooth transition for all DocsApp subscribers to the new consolidated entity. The merger will allow all DocsApp members to easily transfer their existing benefits, including money in their e-wallets, to the MediBuddy app. This comes nearly two years after DocsApp announced the acquisition of MediBuddy in a cash-and-stock transaction for an undisclosed sum.
