Azim Premji-backed iD Fresh Food has launched trust shops with non-surveillance delivery model to sell its ready-to-cook (RTC) products at residential complexes amid the pandemic. The delivery model has been first rolled out in 350 residential apartments in Mumbai.
In coordination with Resident Welfare Associations (RWA), iD’s sales team delivers ordered products at apartment complexes with trust that customers will make the payment via e-wallets later with no follow ups.
Currently, iD delivers its flagship idly and dosa batter, along with parota, paneer and filter coffee, to about 9000 households in Mumbai through trust shops. The model is also being rolled out in Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad.
