Indian Govt bans AliExpress, 42 other Chinese apps


Indian Govt banned 43 mobile apps in India under section 69A of the IT Act including Snack Video & AliExpress along with AliPay Cashier.


This is an addition to 59 apps banned in June and 118 more apps banned in Sept under section 69A of IT act by Govt of India. cited "sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order".


"Government is committed to protect the interests of citizens and sovereignty and integrity of India on all fronts and it shall take all possible steps to ensure that," the government said in the statement.
