Investment tech startup Jar raised $22.6 million in Series B led by Tiger Global where Arkam Ventures, Eximius Ventures, Force Ventures, LetsVenture, Rocketship Venture Capital and WEH Ventures with new investors including 1Finance, Capier Investments, Cloud Capital, Folius Ventures, Panthera Capital, Prophetic Ventures, Yes VC, Adam Nash from WealthFront and Zachary Hargreaves from Vires Aeronautics also participated.

Jar is a platform for investing in digital gold. It operates a mobile app that allows users to invest as little as INR 1. To enable recurring payments, its app collaborates with the digital payment app Paytm. Jar will use the funds to expand its workforce and develop its platform. Jar claims to regularly record an average of 220,000 transactions. It also claims to have served over 9 million users to date.
