Multiplex chain carnival group setting-up 100 cloud kitchens in 9 cities

Multiplex chain Carnival Group, which operates Carnival Cinemas, launched a wholly-owned subsidiary Purple Foods & Beverageas to mark its entry in cloud kitchens, and planing to start its journey by setting up 100 cloud kitchens in its network of cinemas and 2 more central commissaries over the next two years.

It has also set aside Rs 15 Cr for the same, believes that cloud kitchens market has a “huge potential” and can also work along with its network of 150 theaters across 120 cities.

So far, it has started setting up its cloud kitchens in 9 cities, and offer 5 brands Purple Canteen for non-vegetarian food, Green Canteen for vegetarian food, Red Bubble Cafe, Movie Munchies & Fresh Counter and will use Swiggy, Zomato for delivery
