Ordered laptop on Flipkart got detergent bars instead!

Customers flock to Flipkart's 'Big Billion Days Sale,' which offers huge discounts on a variety of products. People who prefer to buy electronic items this time of year should be cautious of fraudulent activities due to the high demand. This is what happened to an IIM Ahmedabad student who ordered a laptop for his father.

Yashawi Sharma shared his ordeal on LinkedIn two days ago, saying he bought a laptop for his father during the 'Big Billion Days Sale' but instead received 'Ghadi' detergent bars. He claimed that his father was unaware of the "open box delivery concept," in which the delivery agent opens the box in front of the customer to ensure that the product is genuine. After ensuring that the product is free of damage, the customer provides an OTP. However, Sharma claimed in the post that the delivery agent failed to inform his father about the concept and shared the OTP without first verifying the product, as is customary. He claimed to have CCTV footage showing the delivery agent coming and going without inspecting the box.
