SoftBank invests $130 Mn Into PolicyBazaar At $1.5 Bn Valuation
SoftBank Vision Fund has invested $130 million in PolicyBazaar. The new investment will give softbank an over 15% stake in the company and value it at about $1.5 billion.The shares have been bought from existing investors like Tiger Global Management, Ribbit Capital and Inventus Capital India.
PolicyBazaar is an online platform allowing users to life insurance and general insurance. The startup also features products from all major insurance companies in India, to help its users decide the policy which suits them the best.
