Industry body National Restaurants Association of India (NRAI) reportedly started sending advisories to restaurants to step up their own loyalty programmes with the return of Zomato’s loyalty programme– Zomato Gold.

The NRAI represents over 500,000 restaurants across the country. Zomato Gold, the company’s loyalty programme, was relaunched last week, replacing the Pro Plus membership, which was discontinued in August 2022. Zomato Gold was launched with a three-month introductory price of 149. Zomato Gold users enjoy a number of advantages. Food delivery is free for such users if the restaurant is within a 10-kilometer radius and the order exceeds INR 199. Zomato is also providing a ‘no-delay guarantee’ to Gold subscribers.
